My favorite of the Mustang Shelby cars, the 67 Shelby – GT500, Ford factory and Shelby American built with original 428 PI, 4sp, inboard head lights and Magstar wheels. Early Shelby features include rear brake vents, clip in fiberglass rear light panel, “horse shoe” cut outs in rear valance. Prior to restoration car had 68,240 original miles and was an 1 owner car, un-molested original condition including original paint, original interior, original motor, original transmission and original rear-end (SPEC). The car was a “tired” but 100% complete, “no hit” body with original Shelby fiberglass, no rust body, no rust floors which had a small (12”x12”) patch/repair on driver’s side below clutch pedal. Paperwork includes original invoice from Mitchell-Howell Ford dated 11/11/67, original Owner Identification manual from Shelby American, original Ford HiPo manual, original Shelby American Extended Warranty cert no. 1908 dated 11/11/67 and Ford dealer claim form for 65 Mustang that was used for trade in on the GT500. We also have the Elite Marti Report and copy of Shelby Records from 1967 Shelby Registrar and approx. 1200+photo chronology of restoration work done 07/2009, including receipts for parts and repair work.
