My favorite color combination; Blue / Blue! This LT1 has just been through an 18 month frame off restoration, completed in September 2016. We used hard to find NOS and original parts throughout, including date code original smog system (January 1970), alternator, TI ignition and distributor – the list of parts we found either in original condition or NOS is extensive. Everything is numbers matching and date code correct, ready for NCRS and Bloomington judging. New interior, carpet, new convertible top, restored original hard top, original dash and instrument cluster remain. Absolutely stunning car with freshly rebuilt transmission (M21 4-speed), rear end and original born in motor (350/370hp) that runs and sounds better than any LT1 you’ll find.
The body and panels are all original. The paint, fit and finish on this car are exceptional In addition to the fresh set of BF Goodrich T/A’s (currently on the car) we found a complete set of five (5) AZ Rally Wheels dated 02/02/1970 and fitted them with a fresh set of Bias Ply Tires for show.
