This z28 is very special…. fully restored with all 100% period correct/ORIGINAL Heavy Duty GM components including 2×4 crossram manifold, crossram fiberglass hood, front and rear suspension, rear end and J56 four wheel disc brakes.  Our vision was to build a car with original “over the counter” GM parts from the late sixties… using only GM parts this period correct restoration is ready to drive hard and fast just like they would have in 1969; ”race ready” for any TransAm road course driven by Mark Donohue and the GM engineers.  “Donohue was not only blindingly fast he was also smart, with a background in engineering and a unique talent for studying and setting up a race car. Together with his like-minded team owner, Roger Penske, he brought a new level of technical sophistication and preparation to nearly every type of American racing”.   During the two (2) plus year restoration we were able to assemble some very special GM parts – some with Penske/Donoue race history.   The motor and trans have been built to racing specs to match the other heavy duty GM components.  This z28 drives, runs and sounds amazing (chambered exhaust) — at 7500 rpm the engine wakes up and so do the neighbors!
