Nothing better than a Buick “woody”. This is a 3 owner car that was owned by the last owner for over 40 years. It has an amazing history documented by a handwritten ledger from 1961 – 2014 and binder of all receipts. The bottom half of the car had been painted once while the top of the car had original factory paint. The car has never been in an accident and has all the original sheetmetal, chrome bumpers, stainless steel and wood paneling. The original straight eight engine, Dynaflow transmission and rear end are still in the car. The interior was replaced in the 80’s while the original motor was rebuilt. We recently repainted the car, replaced all the weatherstripping and restored the engine compartment. The single stage enamel paint looks period correct and really shows off the Barton Gray color against the refinished wood paneling. The car is set off by new 4″ whitewall tires on new Buick wire wheels….simply amazing in person. This car runs and drives like a 51 Buick should with a top speed of 83 mph….4300 pound, big boat!
